About the Role

Patient Care:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in their homes, following established care plans and protocols.
Administer medications (oral, intravenous, intramuscular, subcutaneous) as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration).
Perform wound care, including dressing changes and infection prevention.
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Provide specialized care, such as catheter care, ostomy care, and tracheostomy care, as needed.
Implement and monitor patient care plans, and communicate any changes in patient condition to the supervising nurse or physician.
Perform phlebotomy tasks as needed.

Documentation and Communication:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including care plans, medication administration, and vital signs.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the supervising nurse or physician.
Maintain organized and clean work environment.

Patient and Family Education:
Educate patients and families on disease management, medication administration, and home care techniques.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
Adherence to Policies and Procedures:
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as professional nursing standards.
Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
Follow infection control protocols.

Requirements

Education and Certification:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) or General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) diploma.

  • Valid registration with the Delhi Nursing Council or relevant state nursing council.

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Clinical Skills:

  • Proficiency in administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing wound care.

  • Knowledge of infection control practices.

  • Ability to operate medical equipment, such as blood pressure monitors and oxygen concentrators.

  • Experience with phlebotomy.

Personal Skills:

  • Compassionate and empathetic nature.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.   

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.   

  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Delhi-NCR region.

  • Strong documentation skills.

  • Ability to maintain professional boundries.
